Angry 2 different games with 2 different problems

I have an assortment of games for ePSXe and most of them work reasonably well. There are, however, two exceptions.

Digimon Rumble Arena is hard enough, but it is even harder when the graphics are messed up! Part of the arena overlaps another part in a ghostly strobe lighting effect. I suspect that it might also slow down the action, but I can't be certain.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, I can't even play! In order to start gameplay, you must sit through a storybook background review. But the game is always stammering on phrases. It can be quite amusing to hear the voice-over say, "left a blanket runt, named Hagrid," or how Harry sat beneath the Sorting hat, "hoping not to be the Sorting hat."

Will someone please help me?

yes, HP lockups are related to the SPU IRQ, and there is no perfect way to fix that (yet)

I don't know if this can help you.But it works on me.
1.use internal sound.Enable spu irq. Also can try eternal spu.
2.Put in -oldtiming and -adjusttiming
3.If you had pal game force it to ntsc and for ntsc foces it to pal
4.If it repeating, you had to play it again.

Or you can use savestate.Get it from www.aldostools.com

For the record...

For those that it may concern, I was not using Pete's GPU. I found the problem of the game switching foreground and background and solved it
I am already using the Eternal SPU, but the codetag did not improve matters. Also, ePSXe has save state built in, but all it does in my predicament is save on reload time. I couldn't find anything on the website that would help.
