Omega drivers

Does anyone know if Omega's new ati drivers are based off of the Catalyst 2 drivers or something older? If there off older drivers, are they faster than the new catalyst drivers?

you can try the new omega/plutonium drivers based off the latest leaked catalyst drivers in www.driverheaven.net but it fail for me.. o well.. next release..

(by the way.. it doesn't seem like alot of people like have ati video cards around here ) Slower then the geforce4 ti4600 but still good quality (cheaper!!)

AFAIK Omega drivers are not tweaked for speed but for compatibility with games.

BTW, a Radeon not only has a far better display quality but also a top notch MPEG acceleration - polygone performance isn't everything, but it seems that nVidia don't know that.

I put xp on saturday, I got rid of it by sunday though as it was as bad as I remember it being
I tried the latest omega/plutonium drivers on it and they were just as fast as my win98 drivers in OGL (Q3) but were slower in D3D (UT)
