Need help with Transparencies.... (I have exact system specs.)

I need transparencies in the game.

I have a:

Windows '98,

AMD,

450 Mghz, (but usually runs programs perfectly)

Jaton 8MB AGP Video Card (I had to install a prgram called "v1079x", though),

Asus P5A Audio Mainboard.
--------------------------------

Now my ePSXe settings are:

With this game, I'm not running the ISO/BIN, I'm running from the CD-ROM,

Pete's D3D Video Driver 1.63; DX6 D3D 1.63; OpenGL 1.63, none of those give me Transparency,

I'm using the ePSXe SPU Core 1.5.2 Audio plugin, with Enable Sound and Enable CDDA Sound checked, the other two are not,

For the CDROM plug in, I'm using Pete's CDR ASPI/IOCTL Driver 1.10,

SCPH1001.BIN BIOS,

Auto-load ppf files is enabled,

Country is set on Auto-Detect.

Now the thing is, I'm running "Tales of Destiny II" and trying to get a screenshot of a part of a spell. Now this part has some purple see-through smoke, and I CAN'T see through because for some reason there's not transparency. Also, when I fight in this one fight, the enemy has some purple-see though smoke that poofs out for a minute but since there's no transparency, nothing's showing for a couple of seconds because of the no transparecny.

There was no need to bump the thread 3 minutes after you posted it.
I'm thinking that (combined with what was said on PSXfanatics) it might be your Graphics card rather than anything else.
Is there anyway you can identify the chipset it is based on, coz I'm thinking it might be like the SiS cards which don't really accelerate 3D

Okay, you helped me on the other board, so I'll delete this one...
