I just upgraded from win98 to Win2k. When I was using 98x, I set the refresh setting to "optima"l so that any application I on, whether it be D3D or opengl or desktop (and I only use 1024x768 resolution), it will always use the same refresh rate for that resolution...for me that's 75hz at 1024x768, 32bbp...always. Now that I upgraded to Win2k, only at the deasktop and D3D will it stay at that rate. However, when I use glide or opengl, it drops to 60hz, and there does not seem to be any way in the video settings to fix that. Any ideas? |

Yeah, the 3DFX underground drivers are the best, and really the only viable ones for XP. The tweak tool that comes with it is based on v control IIRC, so just get hold of those.
