project: programming resource page

well i'm thinking of putting together a web page with lots of tutorials, info, links, etc related to programming. anything from assembly, basic, c, and so on. anyone think this is a good idea or care to contribute with ideas, source code, tutorials? or should i not waste my time?

Hey! That's a great idea! But if it's all C and C++, it's no use for me... Why not put up some Delphi tutorials too? I have a few for Winamp and RPG Toolkit... I have lanugage pack tut/sdk and Vis tut/sdk and a few more tuts/sdks... If you want them... (just contact me... jonbh98@hotmail.com )

This would be a _very large_ page, since you could write thousands of pages if you want to cover every aspekt of the mentioned languages.
I think there are lots of tutorials for every languae in the net, maybe you should just make a catalog, a forum and stuff like that.

Yeah...I saw that just a second ago too. They're thinking of turning the web development forum into a general development forum.

I didn't know that there was a development forum in the works here, that's very cool, very very cool. anyway i'll give my progamming website some more thought i suppose. right now i'm working on a alumni site for the high school which i graduated from, so the programming page would be a ways down the road, and would probably begin with lots of assembly and c related stuff to start with. I like snakebites idea about including some delphi info, i'd love to get into delphi myself but haven't had the time yet, lately i've been playing around with java and just general web related junk. anyway thanks for the responses.

There's a clear answer now! This is actually my first visit to this forum. Web development just bores me, but now I have reason to loiter here.

Why not mix the two?
