After installing new BIOS

Ok people i have a problem see the 2nd disabled game port on the screen??
I appeared after i installed a new BIOS for my MOBO - Abit BW7
The BIOS is right and no errrors in it!!
Windows didn't want to start so i found that everything is done by that game port!!!
Oh and one thing windows detected and installed a second sound card!!!!!!!!!
I have only one!!it's called ac'97 audio or something
What to do???????????????????????????????????HELP!!

Oh and there on the screen is that sound card which i don't have AVANCE AC 97 AUDIO

According to Abit's website you do . The AC'97 is integrated onto the motherboard. What has probably happened is when you flashed the bios it restored your bios settings to default, which had re-enabled it. Take a look in your bios settings and switch it off, as it is probably causing an conflict with the gameport on your main soundcard.

Most definitely. When I flashed my BIOS a couple months ago all settings were reset to factory defaults. AFAIK, all BIOSes flash this way.

Hmmm, for Amercan Megatrends BIOS', There's usually a prompt during POST to configure the BIOS after flashing. Maybe it's an Award one on Genius' case.

I usually restore my defaults before flashing my BIOS anyway.

Yeah but that 2nd gameport really pisess me off tried to uninstall it but after reboot it installs it again so i must disable it to my system work correctly!!
Oh and after rebooting with 2nd gameport installed Windows shows a message on the blue screen:
IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUAL
What to do ??
I know that it has to be something in BIOS but what???

I'm guess there must be a separate option in the bios in order to disable it. The reason for the BSOD is that you cannot have two gameports as they use the same IRQ (hence IRQ EQUAL message)

But where is it man I searched for it ;nothing about it!!DAMN i'm mad!!
If anyone know then help me people !!
My BIOS is Award BIOS v.6 3/14/2002 HELP I will really appriciate it
