The ANNOYING "Cdrom open..." bug
There's a bug(?) on epsxe that's really annoying and it's been there since the first version. Whenever the system can't read (or haven't read yet) the cd or by any reasons you eject the disc while the emu is running it won't read any other cd again unless you restart the system!  Sometimes my cd-rom drive is on energy saving mode and it takes a while for the disc to be read, this litlle time is crucial for epsxe not to recognize the cd and make me reboot in order to it play any other game

Never encoutered that problem.... there's going to be a new cdr plugin coming out though, so maybe that'll solve your porblem.

this is caused because the emulator keep trying to read the cd even if the emulator is closed .... and you will need to restart the computer shiori: if you want you can try this yourself .... put a non psx cd in the cdrom drive and try running the cdrom

Ok, I put a porn VCD in the drive and ran it in ePSXe.... it played the porn flick. Just kidding.  ok, so I eject the cd, and put in metal gear. I didn't restart ePSXe. Selected "run CDROM", and it still ran MGS. I also used Pete's 1.10 So I dunno... maybe it's a Windows98 issue? I use WinXP.

im using winxp .... try with the internal cdrom plugin and running w/o a cd inside the drive
