Anything better than Petes OGL 1.61 + Eternal 1.30?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone uses any plugins other than the two mentioned. I have found them to be far and away the best in terms of compatiability and performace. If anyone else uses different plugins and would care to post why I am very interested...

Config
---------
ePSXe 1.5.2
Petes OGL 1.61
Eternal 1.30

System
----------
P4 1.3
Nvidia GF2 32meg
256 Rambus

I use Lewpy's for my Voodoo 5, and sometimes a SoftGPU can be better.
Eternal's SPU can also be a little CPU intensive for some people.

use a soft gpu if you want compatibility over than performance.
but in you comp, using a soft gpu is just awsome (if you don't bother about picture quality that is).

I've heard Lewpy mention many times that his plugin should only be used on a real 3dfx card, and that wrappers don't function very well . . . I wonder if this has chaged . . . Lewpy?

when eternal was still on v1.2, I had to use Iori's plugin for Square games since I could not get the FMV to sound good, But now, q/ v1.3, it's great. And also, I use Pete's D3D, since OGL gives a performance decrease.

Evoodoo is now a glide3 and a glide2 wrapper.. There are two wrappers with it.. Lewpy still doesn't support wrappers, but evoodoo is getting more compatible with it..

IMO the best plugin depends on the system you have. For gf2 ,radeon and many newer cards opengl works best. Some older cards give better performance with pete's d3d and onboard cards work best with pete's d3d dx6.
As far as glide supporting cards go they work best with lewpys plugins and yes evoodoo does support lewpys plugin but dont expect graphics quality to be anything great.

PEOpS and Eternal is a far more superior combo in 2D games than OGL plugins, unless you want certain effects like 2xSaI which is only available in Next Plugins.

afaik the ati radeon actually performs better with d3d but it doesnt make a whole lot of difference (if you're using xp, that is; the ogl driver from ati in 98 has apparantly more bugs)
