Help with Gran Turismo
Hello all. I am after a little bit of help with Gran Turismo. While playing the game it pauses every 10 or so seconds. Only for a moment and then continues as normal. I was wondering what is the best way to help get rid of this. I use Pete's plug ins and i haven't really messed with the settings. Thanks in advance |

You might wanna try searching these forums for your answers. Chances are they have already been answered somewhere. Another thing could you please post your system specs and your plugins/versions that you are using. This will help people solve your problems.

Try checking the xa audio settings...it could be that the game is trying to access the cd to get the music which is stored as xa audio yet the cd suffers from unreadibility problems, causing the hangs...have fun!!

Try experimanting with a few options in both the graphics and uadio plugins. Things like change the frame rate and possibly the resolution you are running at. I suggest a frame rate of about 35fps for GT with a resolution such as 960x720 (or you could stick to te normal ones such as 800x600/1024x768). Change some of the optons in the audio plugin or just try a few different plugins. Its always best to experiment with what works for you. I asked for your system specs because i thought it could be because you had a low spec system, but i see thats not the case. It could also be to do with the speed of your CD rom. Make sure you are using the latest version of the plugins you have and i would recomend using EPSXE version 1.5.1 at the moment until a few bugs are worked out.
