it wont play just show a black screen at the start
it wont play in cvgs either

Maybe some problem with your disc? Legend of Mana runs fine in ePSXe 1.5.1, except for some graphical glitches that will be fixed in the next version.

This may seems stupid but make sure your disc is clean (ie. no dust, dirt etc.) because that can really make your disc unreadable by the cd drive. Btw, the next version of epsxe will be awesome since the gfx problems are fixed.

Be sure to enable SPU IRQ hack for this game.
And with eternal SPU plugin be sure you check SPU IRQ Force interrupt flag.
Wait for XA buffer FREE.
I set the buffer size to 16 on mine.

Be SURE NONE OF THE CDROM settings are checked either.

That should make it work.

cyber man i did it an it wont work either then a try in the original psx console to see if the cd was jamed but it work perfectly

i did try to make an iso file with isobuster but it's says bad sector or something i dont understand if the cd is jamed con could it run in the original psx console

Please stop posting those non-useful messages here, it's kinda annoying. About your problem, I suggest you post as much detail as you can on the configuration you're using for GPU, SPU, CDR and main emu. This way we can try figuring out what's preventing you from running this game.

Looking at your posts, I'm betting it's some problem with CDR Plugin Configuration or your PC's CD-ROM.

I think the best solution here is to make an ISO... since ISOBuster is reporting errors (a bad sign), try using another tool... like Blindwrite (http://www.blindwrite.com).

um, somebody might remember... a long time ago, this was, but I had this problem too, and I gave up. My problem was exactly the same, just a black blank screen, and nothing can be done, no sound comes, you know, just like arjay said. And my CD plays on a PSX console, too. Hmmm... 2 people encountering the same problem? Anyone got a solution yet?

Maybe try bios scph7502.bin instead.. might or might not work...

And make sure you are using internal epsxe CDR plugin

I had the same problem (black screen and nothing happened).

I solved it by disabling "options->SIO irq always enable (F4)".

This line should be unchecked.
