Talking little help pls

as you can see from my sig my problem is my motherboard and it's lack of an AGP slot !! Is it very difficult to upgrade it and if i do what type should i get. Is my geoforce hindered much by this problem??
Another thing aswell, my favourite game is iss pro evo 2 but i have to play it on vgs cos i cannot get the right speed for it on epsxe it's either too fast(1024*768 no fsaa 16bit colour) or too slow(800*600 4*4fsaa 32bit colour) obviously i've tried in between but you get my drift. If i limit the fps(pete's open gl 1.47)to 50 should it run ok with the first config???
Also pete's 1.50 plugin doesn't run aswell for me as 1.47 the grphx in iss with this plugin are crap there is lines on the screen etc.
Finally what drivers should i use bearing in mind i'm going to uninstall crappy dx8 and revert back to 7. i currently use 12.41 but i read some article posted previously which said the 7 series of drivers might suit my set up better
Sorry for all the questions hope someone can help me with some of this, cheers

Well, not having an AGP slot can be a big bottle neck for your system when playing 3D games with lots of textures. The PCI bus runs at 33mhz versus an AGP 4x slot that runs at 266. The higher the number, the better...

What i would recomend is geting the ABIT BH6-2 motherboard (if you have about $120, or you can do what i did and buy the VH6-2 for about $90). Because if you buy another PCI video card, you will not be using the chipsets full capablities.

Oh, and yes, the GeForce cards are hindered by being placed in a PCI slot.

Drivers? I have a GeForce 2 MX and i get the most compatadability and performace with the 12.x series. Currently i use 12.60
