FMV sequences not complete

The FMV sequences in FF9 are not played completely, about 5 - 15 seconds... this sometimes makes the games meaningless (in FF9, FMV are a BIG BIG part of the storyline)... anyone encounter this kind of problem? using Pete OGL and ePSXe 1.5... no frame skipping...
