Q1)What the subchannel does? Q2)And when I tried to create a SB1/m3s file, the file that I created seemed to be losing it's extension(*.m3s, *.SB1) . When I choose the file that I created, I couldn't find the file coz it doesn't have the extensions? So, how do I fix this problem? By adding the *.m3s or *.SB1 extension? I've tried that and epsxe said "invalid m3s/sb1 file" Ur assistance is very very appreciated.

1: Enable subchannel instructs the emu to read the data from the sub channel of the cd. Some copy protection routines check this data as a verification that the game is an original. If it's different the game hangs. Whereas the psx can accurately read the subchannel, on the pc it can be a different story, (this makes the sub channel hard to copy, thus the reason for the protection using this method in the first place.) 2: I'd hazard a guess that the drive you trying to read the subchannel from doesn't support it. Have you tried running the game in your cd writer instead? In my experience they are more likely to be able to read sub channels.
