I mentioned the same thing in another thread. I fell for it as well . Look at the date. It's really well done though.

Yeah, how can it expect people to buy any of their ported games when they suck (technically ). Even if they wanted to make another port, it will damn hard to convince me to get it with my previous experience

Beleve it or not I have no problem with final fantasy 7 or 8 on the pc I played them from begining to end no slips up what so ever the only thing I was annoyed about was the midi versions of the music at the end like one wing angel on ff7 and maybe i am a lion on ff8

I also have had no problems with the two games, but I have a Voodoo 2. I think most people who have reported problems with them have a GeForce or Radeon videocard. I had loads of trouble trying to get FF7 working with my GeForce 2 (although it worked well on my TNT2).

I liked the FF7 port. But the FF8 port just made me mad at first. (I actually like it better now that I have a faster PC). It would constantly delete 3 of my cards, and it ran extremely slow, when games that looked much better ran quickly.

I never saw any trouble either with the ports. I have both of them and they work fine. The only thing that I didn't like about any of the ports was teh boost system for the FF8 Guardian Forces. It was too hard to pull off a full Boost with the normal GF's
