Finally playing Dungeon Siege

Well, spadjr, hanamichi, and Delita, thanks for for all your help and great suggestions. I've finally got it running. Delita, yes, I reinstalled DX 8.1 from the DS CD, maybe that helped, I don't know. I also installed the 27.20 Detonator Drivers instead of the 28.32s because maybe there was a problem w/those drivers, my card, and the game. The 27.20s are supposed to have excellent D3D capabilites (which DS requires) and excellent OGL capabilites as well (which will help ePSXe). I also set shadows to simple, switched to primary driver hardware instead of T&L and I did not mess with any of the options on the Nvidia control panel. I left them just as they came. It might one of these or all of these, but whatever it was, the game is working. I'll post some screen shots later. Which key is it that you can press, in game, to take a screen shot? Thanks again for all your help.
One last thing, I might try adding features until the game crashes, then I'll know that the feature that makes it crash is the last one I enabled. I'll then disable that one and leave the others enabled.
Take care all.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Thanks Bgnome. I was going crazy trying to figure out what was going on. I'm glad that it is working now.
Hanamichi, I can vouch for Irfanview also. It is what I use and it works great.
sincerely,

Glad you aquired it sxamiga! Looks like a sweet game. But alas I did not buy it but instead bought myself a 40gig HD and 52x CD-ROM for my B-day instead.
