Question Quick request/question

Hello, I used to be very knowledgeable of PSX emulation, but after I bought a PS2, I haven't been on the scene for quite some time. I am going to d-load the latest version of epsxe and the plug-ins (I understand the downloads will be back up tomorrow?). My computer is definitely fast enough (last time I was on the scene my computer was so slow it was barely even worth emulating on the PC). I have since built an Athlon 1.4 Ghz w/ 512 MB PC2100 DDR RAM and a geforce2 32 MB GTS video card. I would like to get back into emulation, so I have two quick questions:

1: How do I make an iso? I know how to run it but I forgot how to make one

2: Where can I find info on what settings to use when copying a psx cd with clonecd?

I'm slowly re-acquanting myself with the world of psx emulation- please forgive my forgetfulness. Thanks in advance.

P.S. - I used to have a registered name on this board, but once again, I forgot it. Therefore I had to create a new one.

in clonecd check the read subchannel data and subchannel audio, it should work. or try one of the clonecd frontends, they will automatically enable all the options for you.

I would suggest using Isobuster which I've found easy/quick to use.

I've always used CDR-win to make .bin files and never had any problems with any PSX cd's. Also to make your cd-r plug-in work at some point, if you're using Win2k or WinXP you'll have to download adaptec's ASPI drivers

There's a full guide to protections on Clonecd here http://www.daemon-tools.com/clonecd.htm
Hope that helps
