BigJohn8411, is where you live in the USA? I live in the USA and I have never heard of that city. Anyway, if you DO live in the USA, the Game Boy Advance is not due out until June 13th, not the 11 th. FuncoLand, Software Etc. (Babbages in other parts of the country), and Fry's have all said this. I am anxiously awaiting it too.
sincerely,

well, i dont have a GBC so i was gonna do the same thing. when the two zelda games came out, im like damn im gonna have to get a GBc AND a GBA. but then i read that the GBA can play GB game and i was like sweet i'll just get a GBA now.

i think im gonna get the Indigo(dark blue) or the Arctic(white) I cant stand the new fad of making things clear so you can see through them. theres really nothing interesting inside

I see that there are some corny U.S. game releases. Check your nearest importer for the japanese games, there's alot of good games out. Also ask if the japanese games work on the U.S. vers. of GBA.
I saw that the japanese vers. of GBA works both U.S. & JAP games.

Campaign2016, you're right, I have no idea where Blue Island is. I would guess that it is somewhere on the East Coast. Am I close? Yes, some places did get GBAs from E3 and were/are selling them.
Video Trading Post (near me) is one place that had a couple. The owner, Paulette, was selling them for $139 each. But she told me to wait for the offical release on the 13th and see if I could find one for less (they are supposed to be going for $100). So, I am going to wait until after the 13th to pick one up.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Noppers sxamiga, Blue Island is in the mid west a little south of chicago (probably like 20 miles or so) It is neither Blue nor an Island.

but you might be plesantly surprised to find that the GBA is retailing for 89.99 (which is only 20 bucks more than the GBC) but of course if you miss one on the 13th, you might have to find one through secondary sources for more

too bad those stores could have gotten in big trouble selling them before the release date
for example, when the last harry potter book came out, a store in the mid west got in trouble because like ten minutes before the store closed for the night before it came out they started putting the displays up and one of the customers still in the store bought one.
but oh well, none of the stores i went to today had a shortage of GBA's even though it was two hours after opening up
