WTF?! ePSXe doesn't work anymore!!

Evers since I installed Pete's 1.6 plugins, ePSxe will not run when I click it's executable. All that appears is a blank DOS prompt window. I switched back to my older plugins and that didn't work. Deleting and reinstalling ePSXe didn't work and neither did removing ePSXe's registry entry!
What the hell is going on?!

Since the 1.60 plugins are using exactly the same registry values as the older plugins (no new options have been added at all), and since I didn't change anything with the registry, an older plugin has to work (yeah, there is always a little chance that new plugins are not working with special games, so it's wise to keep older versions as well)... well, but it seems something else with your system is screwed (don't blame me, though )

Did you have any other software crashes or problems before or after you used pete's 1.60? It is possible that there's some cross-linking problem between epsxe and those other softwares... you can try restarting and run a Norton disk check and Win doctor, sometimes it helps to fix the problem

It's fixed now. I had to restart my PC twice (both times the system locked up). I've never seen anything like it.
