So, how does this work with ePSXe exactly? It doesn't tell you.

So I need to find Lewpie's GPU plugin and download the nGlide wrapper?

Okay, downloaded and installed it. 2D games now run without tearing, and at max resolution (force-enabled)! Thanks for pointing that out

Any particular reason to prefer this 3Dfx plugin for PS1 over the opengl ones? I'm not familiar with Lewpie's plugin, though I've been in love with glide64 ever since I found out about it

Well, I can now confirm that even with the other soft GPU plugins, the tearing no longer persists and 2D games look wonderful. An excellent wrapper to say the least.

Thanks for posting the info. I downloaded it. I had a previous version, but I think I had saved it to an external hard drive that I think 'died' recently. Its going to be a while before I redownload all the data I lost.
