i may have f'ed up my saves. any way to restore them?
a year or two ago i played etrian odyssey on the no$gba (using no$zoomer) and had to abandon it due to lack of time. now i decided to return to it but i seem to messed up my saved game and can't continue. back when i played it i tried to use save/load states instead of the in-game save system but noticed that loading the saved state doesn't actually do anything, so after that i started using the simple in-game save. i made, i think, just 1 save state at the begging of the game and then i stopped using this function all together. when i decided to return to the game a few days ago, i had forgotten that the save state system doesn't work and that i used the normal in-game save. i booted up no$zoomer, pressed load state and selected the only saved state that i had. surprised that it did nothing (later i remembered that it didn't work), i waited for the game to load, load the game from the menu and it loaded a very old save when my party was still lvl 1. all the party member names and team composition were exactly the way i left them, except it was the beginning of the game and all my guys were lvl 1. i shut it off, launched it again, this time didn't load any states, load the game normally from the menu, and it loaded the same old save. so did i mess up my saved game by using that load state function? is there any way to restore it or make the emulator access it? some help would be appreciated, would be a bummer to start this all the way from the beginning. |

Yes you did. Quote:
And if you mean No$Zoomer's Import/Export Battery feature, those simply let you have multiple saves for games that normally only allow for one (eg. Pokemon). If you meant No$GBA's savestates, yeah, those never worked for DS games.
