PokéMon Gold

Good evening forum,

I'm fairly new to this so please bear with me. I've downloaded VBA because I wanted to try playing some PokéMon games (Both for GBC and GBA). I've succesfully downloaded and started PokéMon Gold but whenever I get in game I can't select the 'New Game' and 'Option' options. Pressing Enter, Space, Shift etc. doesn't work. I'm probably making a basic mistake but please help me out by saying what I have to change in the settings/whatever..

First, wrong section... There's a section of it's own for emulators and for VBA exclusively. Go to the front page and just scroll down a little.

But anyways, first check your button configuration to see which button is set for A or start... Options->Joypad->Configure->1...

But I hope you can help me a little more since I already posted it in the wrong section.. It has a lot of 'Joy'-s, 0,1,2&3. Which is the right one to change? Sorry for all the trouble.

I think I might have an older version but it should be the first choice, 0 or 1... That is, unless the default joypad has been changed, which should be right under the configure option(options->joypad->default joypad).
