Capcom® Store Exclusive preorder bonus: Premium full-sized Umbrella Corporation Umbrella

This is a very nice deal, but I feel the 360 version is a bit gimped and at least should be $10 less. Also unlike the Street Fighter 25th anniversary CE it won't be exclusive to the Capcom Store.

This is absurdly inexpensive, given how much value is provided for RE fans.

I find it amusing how lazy Capcom is, not even putting an effort to convert RE1-3 to 360 and just releasing it on PS3 since they don't have to do anything with it.

I certainly won't be getting it since I have RE5 Gold, RE4 HD and RE:CVX HD on PS3 already. I'd rather go for standalone RE6 or even better wait for RE6 Gold.

I wish Capcom struck some kind of a deal with Nintendo for releasing RE0 and REmake in HD for PS3/360. Although we're more likely to see those on WiiU.

yea I probably won't get it either I already have RE4 HD on 360 and I've played RE5 and both DLC. I'll stick to standard RE6 and buy RECV later.

This question was raised on Capcom's forums recently and it was said by Capcom's VP that no deal needs to be "struck" with Nintendo.

The exclusive deal for RE0 and REmake was for only a year or 2.

They feel the work to "re-draw" the 2D backgrounds in HD would be too expensive for the amount of dollars they expect they would get from the sales.

They know that fans don't want "filtered" backgrounds after trying that with SF3OE.

I must say Capcom is trying to learn from things they try in the past and its understandable that "Remaking" REmake might be quite expensive to do right.

But it still sucks royally though as those 2 are classics that a LOT of people missed out on due to them being on a poorly received console (Nintendo GC)

They haven't learned crap look at RECV HD and RE4 HD on ps3/360 very ugly they just upscaled it to HD and to 16:9. Same low res textures, the same happened to DMC HD collection.

Those are also games that can be used to show that it "didn't work" and why they are reluctant to do RE0 or REmake.

Capcom are not doing further HD "re-releases" due to the heat caused by them not being in HD properly.

Put simply RE4 and RE:CV were released to test the market on the publics desire for old RE games in HD.

The fact that they were poorly received (having a LOT of complaints about the "filter" factor) pretty much wiped out any chance of RE0 and REmake getting the same treatment

The non-cannon side series RE games are not considered as important to Capcom to get right. Its the main series games they are trying to protect from hate

Why isn't CV included on the PS3 bundle though? It makes no sense they'd leave that one out~.

I must agree, especially with the recent "HD" re-release it seems odd to not include it.

The lighting was also redone in RE:CV and looks pretty nice to be honest. And both RE4 and CV HD editions are certainly better than Silent Hill HD collection.

As for lack of Veronica on PS3, Capcom is probably trying to make it up for lack of RE1-3 on 360 :>
