It is a nice bundle, but SF X Tekken shouldn't even be included at all. The animated series is the USA cartoon which was decent but the anime was better.

I have no real interest in this as I own SSF4 plus the AE DLC, the SF2 Animated movie BD, SF3 Online, and SSF2THR

Don't get me wrong I am a big SF fan, but right now I am not a big Capcom fan and I refuse to give them any money.

Funny thing is I would buy that $1000+ version of RE6 if I had lots of money to throw around

The following are my questions and I'm sure other people will have questions of their own to add.
Quote:
1. Where can we pre-order it from? I know the Capcom store already has it up, but I have had bad experiences with Digital River and would rather not have to deal with them.
We are working with the big guys, and they should have their order pages up shortly. In fact, Amazon's order pages are up right now:

Xbox 360

PS3

Because of the quantities, the set won't be available in mom-and-pop stores.

Quote:
2. Will the included DLC (for Arcade Edition and SFxT) be unlocked on the disc (ala PS3's Resident Evil 5 Gold DLC) or will the game come with a PSN/XboxLive code to download the unlock key (ala 360's Resident Evil 5 Gold DLC)? The former would be the preferred one.
As was mentioned earlier in the thread, it would be the download keys. If we would have had it be available on-disc, it would have required some re-development, which would have forced us to increase the price.

Quote:
3. What costume packs are being referred to for the Arcade Edition's included DLC? All of them (Vanilla, Super, Ultra, Arcade Edition)? That would be great.
Every single costume from every version. (I believe it's 102 total.)

Quote:
4. Will SFIITHD and SFIIIOE be reedemable through download codes or will they be on a disc(s)? For the 360 Edition? For the PS3 Edition?
Download codes for both version.

Quote:
5. Will the documentary still be on a Bluray disc for the 360 edition? Will it be 1080p?
Yes, so you will require a separate Blu-Ray player. It will be 1080p.

Quote:
6. Will the SFIV and SSFIV movies be on Bluray for the 360 edition? For PS3 Edition? Will they be 1080p?
They will be included on the Blu-Ray for both versions. The Ties that Bind (the SFIV movie) will be 1080p, and the SSFIV OVA will be 720p (that is what it was produced in)

Quote:
7. Will the Street Fighter Animated Series be on Bluray for the 360 edition? For PS3 edition? Will it be 1080p?
It will be included on the Blu-Ray for both versions, and it will be in standard definition (no HD version exists).

Quote:
8. Will the Street Fighter II movie be on Bluray for the 360 edition? For the PS3 edition? Will it be 1080p?
It will be included on the Blu-Ray for both versions, and it will be in standard definition (no HD version exists).

Quote:
9. Which Street Fighter II animated series are we getting?
I'm not sure exactly which item you're referring to. The animated series is the USA Network version from 1995-1997. The Street Fighter II Animated Movie is the one animated by Group TAC and released in 1994. If you're thinking of Street Fighter II V, that is not included (legal reasons).

Quote:
10. Who is making the Ryu Statue? Any company we should be excited about (like Sideshow or Kotobukiya)?
I suppose that partially depends on who you get excited about, but it is Multiverse, which is made up of some of the best designers at SOTA, who have made a number of our larger statues before. However, I can vouch that the detailing and overall quality of the statue in the collector's set is one of the best I've seen for its size.

Quote:
11. Any chance of releasing the track list for the Soundtracks?
Yes, but just to give you a heads-up:

Street Fighter - Basically, all the music from the arcade game.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo - All the character themes, character ending themes, and general game themes (from the arcade version).
Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Essentially the same as the official soundtrack from way back when.
Street Fighter III Third Strike - The entire original soundtrack, plus the Online Edition soundtrack.
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition - All the character themes.
Street Fighter x Tekken - Very similar to the soundtrack included in Japan's SFxTK special edition.
Fan-created music - Much too varied to list here (we're going to have a special feature about the 40+ contributing artists closer to launch), but it spans a wide variety of styles and genres for both remixes and original works.

Quote:
12. What is the edition size of this run? For PS3? For 360? Alltogether?
Our numbers are 14,500 for the Xbox 360, and 15,500 for the PS3. So that's 30,000 total. I should note, we're not reprinting this. Once that number is gone, it's gone for good.

Quote:
13. What are the Artbook's dimensions?
I'd need to double check for the exact dimensions, but to the best of my memory, it's roughly 7.4 inches wide by 10.5 inches tall. I can be more specific if you need, but rest assured it's not a manual-sized art book.

$149.99 for 4 games (that include ALL DLC), 3 movies, an entire TV series (Some of which has never been seen on BD before), Artwork book, 11 Disc Soundtrack, Ryu's "belt", a Ryu statue and cert of Authenticity is a ripoff?

How is offering a sick deal for $149.99 being "pooped on"?
I understand the anger towards Capcom for the "On-Disc DLC" stuff, but they have announced publicly that on-disc will soon be a thing of the past.

I think they are doing a good job of learning from there mistakes.

eg...
1. They put DRM on SSF4AE, after complaints it was removed (Less then a week after release)
2. Complaints about on-disc DLC, after complaints they will soon no-longer have "ON-Disc" DLC. (Dragon's Dogma will be one of the last)
3. Stuff up the release of SFxT, retire the producer from the project and get another producer to take over.

Seriously, I know Capcom have been making mistakes but at least they are listening to there fans and making changes to try and get back on-side with them unlike some other companies I won't even bother mentioning that seem to think complaints about DRM only come from pirates.

All those games together cost more than 100 USD as it is. Seriously, if you want to ***** at a company at least make sure you don't sound like a moron while you are at it~.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

Looks tempting though but I don't have piles of spare cash lying around and I am content with just buying the game.

  • Street Fighter IV
Complete Alternate Costume Pack - $12.50 USD
  • Super Steet Fighter IV
Ultra Complete Alternate Costume Pack - $18.00 USD
Super Complete Alternate Costume Pack - $18.00 USD
Quote:
Street Fighter X Tekken (including all 12 extra characters and Swap Costume DLC)
  • Street Fighter X Tekken - $59.99 USD
  • TK Swap Costume Complete Pack - $13.00 USD
  • SF/TK Swap Costume Complete Pack - $18 USD (new costumes were just announced, I'll just add $5 to the total since it looks like they are combining the TK pack with SF costumes)
  • DLC Characters - $20 USD
  • Street Fighter III: Online Edition - $15 USD
  • Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix - $15 USD (still $15.....)
Total: $216.48

I'm basing this on the XBL prices, but I don't think the PSN prices would be that different

You should've left it at that. And for the records, always always do your homework before making a statement. The games alone, just the games I am not even counting the DLCs, amount to 114.96:

-> Street Fighter X Tekken = 59.99 USD~.
-> Super Street Fighter IV = 29.99 USD~.
-> Street Fighter III: Third Strike = 14.99 USD~.
-> Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix = 9.99 USD~.

Total (once more): 114.96 USD. Then you factor in the DLC content, the 11 discs OST, the figure and the movies and the price of 149.99 USD is a gift. I may be a "jackass", but I least I know what I'm talking about~.

Is it really that much? I thought SSFIV went down to 19.99 and the Arcade Edition was priced at 29.99 by now. I could be mistaking the price of retail vs DLC version though, my bad. Still, it only makes the point more valid that the package is a great deal if you don't own all the games and even if you own some of them, it's a really cool aniversary edition compared to what others usually offer~.

from what I see from various stores it is still $39.99. It is a good value in this economy.
