Load State problem please help !

Well im using version 1.6 but the same problem happened with version 1.7 epsxe.
its simple but i cant figure out why this is happening ... i use epsxe a long time ago and never had this problem with the states ...
so here is the problem : save (F1) and change slot(F2) are working fine ... But when i Load(F3) everything got black and i keep hearing the sound ( so the game keep running but the video dont come back ... everything just keep black ).
Any idea how to fix that up??
