Nintendo Power 900 points too much for Neo Geo games on Wii

I was browsing the latest Nintendo Power at the local library and they had reviewed the downloads for KOF 97 and SS IV, in both cases they believed $9.00 (900 points) was too much for them.

I have the "Anthology" packs of both on the Wii and PSP (and the KOF on the PS2) and I have to agree that's a bit pricey.

I was wondering what others thought of virtual game pricing in general?

What do you think "legal ROMs" are worth?

Yes, I like getting (primarily digital) games on sale @ bargain prices! don't like it? Just deal with it!

All those oldies are overpriced. Grabbing them from VC is more cost-economic, and you can easily convert them for use on traditional emulators.
The bigger problem though is how they literally make available only average or superold titles.

I mean, youre not going to make a lot of people happy by selling KOF94 for 10$ when the best are kept away ('98, '99, '2000).

I wish I understood how to "convert" them.

VC ones? I believe they're still normal roms wrapped in an archive with some html descriptors.
