Question Flickering Characters

I've noticed that on every game that I tried, the character polygons tend to flicker between different positions, even when they're supposed to be completely still. Sometimes they even clip into other polygons, which makes for hair entering faces and other very distracting annoyances.

Is there any way to fix this? I've been told that "PSX lacks sub-pixel precision", but I've watched videos and talked to people who claim to emulate these games without the flickering I just mentioned

Maybe you can have the game without flickering.
Don't try to raise the game resolution or anything more than 640x480.
If you have a decent Nvdia card, you can use the OpenGL 2 plugin and try to maximise the setting so that you will have a better graphic similar to ps2 and of course less flickering.
