Ripping Images and Cutscenes/Video Clips from PSX Games
Alright I'm trying to rip images such as character images, maybe a few sprites, and other. Also I want to rip the video cinematic from the beginning of the game. The game being Brigandine Legend of Forsena. I have PSicture but the images it rips from my ISO appear all wonky... Attached are some examples. I made the ISO directly from a working disc (was playing it just yesterday on my PS2). Do I need to use a different format or something or maybe the coding on the game is just that odd that PSicture won't work with it? (I know that doing an english patch for Brigandine GE was mostly abandoned by many good translators due to Atlus's insane programming..) Any advice? For videos, jpsxDec offers the highest decoding and conversion quality for ps1 videos. For general rippping, psxMC should do for you (lower quality ripping of videos compared to jpsxdec). You can run a full disc scan for only graphics. |

Thanks I'll check them out right away and update with my experience. For now though what are the limitations on the shareware version of psxMC?
