Help with Final Fantasy Tactics

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some help with the ePSXe emulator and all that hubub about plugins, bios, iso's and everything else I've aspired to learn about in the past 24 hours to play my favorite game OF ALL TIME. Well I honestly don't know anything so I'll try to explain my situation without flaws.

In my compy I'm running a AMD Phenom II Processor
A Nvidia GeForce GTX 460
and a Asus all purpose motherboard.

I magically obtained the scph1001.bin thingy.
and I downloaded the ePSXe emulator and I have a FFT ISO and the actual disc in my compy.

I'm trying to use Pete's Open 2.9 for video
PEOPS 1.9 for sound
Petes CDR drivier 1.11
and the magically inclined scph1001.bin as my bios.

i try to play the game via ISO and it never loads the main screen.

Also the video option is in default fast and nice. (i"ve tried both)

Any suggestions for this noob?

Hmmm, I don't think that there are any probs with your plugins and configurations.
It could the problem with your ISO.
Have you try the disc?

I'm using the PEOPS 1.18, with ePSXe 1.7.0

*The CDR config it's not needed, since you're running from an ISO.

*Sound it's not related, even without sound the game might be running anyways.

So, there are two options:

1st: Unzip(rar) the ISO again and open it with the emulator. If this doesnt work, download the iso from other page.
2nd: If the problem persist, change the plugin to the one i have (P.E.Ops. Soft Driver 1.18) and run again.
If this doesnt help, try in other computer. It might be software/hardware related.

If he wanna try the disc as I recommended up there, the CDR config is matter though.

I tried playing the game via CDROM and through the ISO through multiple settings. Nothing so far. Guess I'll have to download another ISO and see whats up. BTW I have no other compy to check these settings on.

By the way, how long should I wait with the black loading screen before I give up? I'd like to make these trials efficient and correct after all.

It shouldnt take more than 15 seconds.
