Looking at those screens I wonder how well the Yu-Gi-Oh! games are emulated.

Alright!!! I finaly managed to overcome crash and now i confirm that the game is truly playable. Here are more screens, and again, this is the most beautiful looking game on PSP ( just like GOW1&2 were on PS2 ).

Is PSP emulation faster or slower than PS2 emulation?

Contrary to the PS2 emulation, the speed of games in PSP emulator is not determened by the fps. So, just like with PC games, when someone have low fps he is still having full speed, but gameplay is not smooth.
But still, Jpcsp is much younger than PCSX2, and also Java should be generaly slower than C++.

Many games are very slow ( like FF: Dissidia ). My rig is Athlon 250, 4Gb ram, 9600gt, so it's fairly low end machine. With Ghost of Sparta i get 15-40fps (average 30fps) in game. Now translate that to some i5 cpu, and you'll get very high performance.

I don't think that fps counter works like it does in PC games. In an emulator, fps stands for fields per second, so regardless of your real fps, the fps in an emulator needs to be at 60fps to be at full speed for an ntsc game and 50fps for a pal game. So if you average 30fps in an emulator, you're only averaging half the speed the game is meant to run at on the real hardware.

Well, i don't know how to explain this, but speed of gameplay on emulator matches the speed of my real PSP, even if it's only 15fps (not saying that is comfortable either).

That's because it's frameskipping like hell to get the real speed of which a game should be ran at because your cpu isn't fast enough to keep up with a real psp without frameskipping.
