Zoids battle legends problem

I have dolphin 3.0, and zoids battle legends. It seems to run reaaaaally slow, even though I have a decent pc. I've messed with the settings and have been able to increase it from 12fps to around 40-60. But it's still incredibly slow.

Are there optimal settings that I'm missing out on? Or plugins/hacks that will make it run smoother and faster?

I have an ati radeon hd 4800 gfx card with 1786mb available memory.

A Amd phenom II X2 550 processor 3.1ghz

and 2gb ram.

I doubt its my specs but hey, anything's possible.

Also having problems actually hitting anything, as the crosshair seems to stay aimed toward the sky.
I guess it's because I use the keyboard???
