MFC>Wx

If you don't like the new Wx GUI I made a build with the old GUI.
Note the ini was renamed from vba to vbam. Its in %appdata%/vba-m if not in the exe folder.

wow thanks for this release

VBA-M Development has really gone Down Hill, Its Slow, ruined the GUI, full of Useless Library and the VBA-M Coders are Not Even Emulator Authors, VBA-M is now Dead and ruined by Zach Thibeau ect.

SDL = Slow Down Library

I Would Love to Work on a Dedicated Windows Branch but my Visual Studios 2010 Expired

it's a little late, but I am the Zach mentioned. I did not write the wxwidgets interface, I just merely did a test build of an experimental interface and I made mention in the original post on vba-m.com that it was very alpha quality, the mfc interface is still the recommended interface until wxvba-m is ready which could still be a while. So stop the accusations. And I'm sure Nach and the other members are having identity crisis at learning they are not really emulator authors.

Yes, please tell us more about how we're not emulator authors. I know I'm not an emulator author. I only contribute to emulators, port them to different operating systems, and maintain them when their original authors are no longer actively doing so. Nope, not an emulator author.

To be an emulator author, I would have to write an emulator myself from scratch, with only hardware manuals for reference, right? Or does that just make one a total author, instead of a contributing author? I'm so confused.

How in the hell is that reply even relevant to this topic? I was going to report you for spam before I noticed your rank and post count.

it's called sarcasm, buddy.

If he says vbam suck, then show us something better.
Crying and bluffing means nothing but hilarity; it ruins the mean of husbandry.

You can suppose that anything not in your line of thought as randomness, but it's not too much of my concern.
Yet, we are heading towards a true tangent.

I often miss sarcasm in text form. For instance, without seeing your rank and post count, or any of your other posts, I would normally interpret that as a genuinely idiotic post. Because I genuinely think there are people out there with enough neurons rubbing together to make their hands operate a computer and post on the Internet, but not enough of them to make any sense when they do so.

Hmm, you're right, this is a tangent. Maybe it's time to lock this topic before the entropy goes through the roof. Because trolling about how bad VBA-M's WxWidgets UI was when first unleashed on the general public made for such a great topic in the first place.

Indeed.
The wxwidget version is still WIP. Till it matures enough to supersede the old interface in usability, use of the regular MFC version is advised.
