Emulation is very slow
I'm unsure if it is me, or this game. I am currently trying to play Tales of Symphonia (Since the PS2 version is superior to the GC version, but wasn't released in the US), but it is soooo laggy. It IS my first PS2 emu game, so I am not sure if it is just the game or my computer. Don't wanna page stretch with pic spam~ System Specs EE/IOP VUs GS GS Window Speedhacks Video Plugin Settings Game screenie Thanks in advance for any assistance I receive. CPU is too slow. Thank you for your extremely detailed post though. All too often I and other members have to ask for more details. As a side note, setting speedhacks too high can, surprisingly, cause slowdowns as well. Try setting the EE and VU speedhacks to just one notch above the lowest settings each. I don't think it will magically make the game fully playable, but it might help a bit.

Fudgies. I had a feeling. Thank you for your quick response. ![]() That seems a bit odd, but I shall try it! Edit: Well, I tried it. It actually lowered the performance. FPS went down from 15-ish to about 7-ish. Oh well. Guess I'll just stick with the GC version. Thanks again for your help.
