legend of the dragoon won't initiate (black screen on start)

I have recently installed epsxe 1.7.0, configured the plugins and bios

Code:

spupeopsdsound
gpupeteopengl2
cdrpeops
SCPH1001

and downloaded the above mentioned game. I have configured the joystick keys and started the game after have mounted it "run cdrom" but the game shows a black screen and nothing more after that. It shows only the gamepad on the top right corner of the screen.
what am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated I am newbe to emulators
