FF7 Error crush game
I have a problem with Final Fantasy 7. I use ePSXe 1.7.0 and i play with iso files, i do with the unofficial italian tradutiuon but i think that this is not the nature of the problems because many firends of mine finish the game with the unofficial italian tradution. Now the problem is this, in the piece of the worldmap after the first cave (the cave that you get when you escape from the big snake with the chokobo) th game crash sometimes when appears random battles, it never crash if appears random battles in other places (like the cav) but only in that piece of worldmap. The first time that crashed appeared this message Quote:
My notebook have 1.00 gb RAM and 1.67 GHz of processor. The game never was perfect, in the battles always is a little bit frammented but nothing rilevant because i played it very well. The game not crash ever with random battle in this part of world map, but sometimes, if appear a battle 70% crash 30% not crash. I realy hope to find answers, thank you |

No cheat code, i played a regular game, by the way i continue the game, i kill the jenova arm in the ship and in the new part of worldmap the random battles appears regular, no problems no crush, i think is something in the particular area of worldmap, but i have the fear that it will become with other areas of the worldmap, at the moment the error become only in that place. Thanks for your answe cloudbill

Sounds like you've got a bad image. I assume the Italian translation was in the form of a patch you had to apply to the image and then make a new image? Maybe during patching it corrupted the image or maybe the original image of the game itself was corrupted. Anyways, just check your original disc and see if it has any outstanding imperfections on it. If It looks good go ahead an make a new image and apply the patch again. Worse case scenario, you wasted 20 minutes and haven't solved anything but you haven't lost anything either .
