A few troublesome games :(

It seems there are a few games that will not boot and as such are incompatible with XEBRA as well as pSX, SSSPSX, and PSXeven. It seems the only emulator capable of playing these specific games is ePSXe! So, I was wondering if Dr Hell or someone else could look into the specifics of why they won't work because there must be something in PSX emulation that more than one author is overlooking and needs to be addressed. Perhaps ask one of the ePSXe guys like Calb, Galtor or _Demo_?

Games that will not work on any emulator except for ePSXe:

Syphon Filter 3 (NTSC)
Parasite Eve 2 (NTSC)

On another note Texture Upsampling above the native internal res and Antialiasing would be nice!

Hope this gets fixed and we get more updates from Dr Hell!

Syphon Filter 3 works fine for me. It required setting the I-cache rate to 12 to continue past the first loading screen. Seems fine other than that.

Hello Syst3mSh0ck,

Those two game work if your lower the i-cache rate. I know parasite eve 2 works with the i-cache rate at 10.
