Minecraft Bukkit
Greetings. This thread is basically about my experience setting up a Minecraft Bukkit server. I've found that on the Bukkit forums, most people are too busy trying to fix their own problems to respond, and threads fly by too quickly for people to notice anyway. Plus I haven't been here for a while too. ![]() My problem is that our server just doesn't handle that many players. But I've heard conflicting information. Some people say you need a monster of a PC to run it, others say fairly mid-range hardware is good enough. But getting information on just who runs what and what kinda performance they get is difficult. My first question is, does anyone else run a Minecraft server - particularly a Bukkit one? (Bukkit by the way is a version of the Minecraft server which you can load community mods onto.) |
