new to epsxe, trying to figure out best config

Hiya.

So I've just gotten this and I've got it running on the default "fast" settings; it works for the most part (there are one or two quirks, like the text in Tales of Destiny not entirely disappearing after a line of dialogue), but a few games move more than a bit slowly (Colony Wars, Ghost in the Shell).

I read the stickied thread about the basic requirements and what it would take to get it running--even at the high end it seems like I meet the stats (not being very tech savvy, I don't know what all would be relevant), so I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what the best approach would be.

stats:

AMD Athlon II dual-core m320 2.10 ghz
2.75 gb ram
windows 7 32-bit.
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200.

(If I'm missing info, let me know and I'll look up whatever else might matter)

also: using pete's OpenGL2 driver 2.9

Welcome to Emuforums.

Same settings don't work on all games, unfortunately. For your convenience, download and setup a frontend like Delta or ePSXeCutor and make separated configs for each game. You can find guides from frontend manuals.
