Help with epsxe

Hello everyone,

I have recently installed epsxe 1.7.0 on to my Windows 7 ultimate machine. I have been able to play such games as Final Fantasy 7 and Dino Crisis 2 ok. But i have since downloaded a Resident Evil 2 iso. When i run the game it allows me to play up to until the zombies break through the gun shop window. It then either crashes on that scene or the screen goes blank.

What is this problem and how can i fix it?

Oh i forgot to tell you my system specs. They are

CPU - Intel pentium dual core 3.00GHz
RAM - 2.5GB DDR2
HDD - SATA 250GB
GPU - Radeon X1300/X1550 Series, has a dedicated video memory of 512MB
and a total available graphics memory of 1535MB.
