epsxe 1.7 frameskip/speed

so i want to spped up the game but it doesnt work :D y i know always the same ...

ok here is what i tryed
all the pete's video plugins and the build in plugin have the same result the framelimit does not go over 60 and yes i have read a few posts about this so i have set the fps limit and tryed the autodetect and so on

my pc:
3GHz duo core
ati radeon HD 4850
2gb ram

so i dont think that 60 is the natural limit of my pc

well its not a critical problem but it would make some things faster for me
any suggestions are welcome :)

ePSXe 1.7 has a built-in frame limiter. Disable frame skipping/limiting in your video plug-in and just press F4 in-game to disable ePSXe 1.7's frame limiter.

If you want to speed up the game, simply set the Eternal SPU as 1.15 as your sound plugin
and after the emulation starts press DELETE 1 time and toggle the END button to change between speeds, but not all parts of a certain game can go in a fast forward mode

Question is why speed up the game when you can play it normally. It would be harder to control I figure while the game is blurring by.

Makes random battles and leveling up in RPGs more tolerable.
