Problem with Final Fantasy VII (ePSXe)

Hi everyone, my problem is this:

I've been playing FF VII and I'm already on disc 2, the problem is when I go to the Temple Of The Ancients with Bugenhagen and he tell me to enter to the center of the room, the game get's in black screen and a sound like an error (ex:sounds like when you press too early the button on the new game, continue screen), and the game never come back to normal, I'v tried waiting almost 45 minutes, I've searched for all the net with no results of solutions, maybe it's my game? help me please!!

I'm using:

ePSXe 1.7.0
Pete's DX6 D3D 1.75 plug in
I have:
4 Gb ram, Intel core i5 and ATI radeon premium Video card

Help me please!!, thanks for your time and sorry bad english

Are you playing from ISO or CD? If ISO, try re-creating it.
