Patch games with AR CODES for no$gba
This method works for a great number of games, you can always try your patch on a different region of the same game, if one region doesn't work. The particular patch below only works on the usa version of yugioh, without further editing to the patch. You will not longer have to type in AR CODES, once the game is patched, its permanently ACTIVE for your rom dump of the game, forget about keeping track of messy AR CODES. Step 1 Grab the AR CODES (action replay codes) for the game you intend to patch. Below is a list of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia AR CODES, which were made to fix the game crashing. ACTION REPLAY CODES FOR Yugioh 2010. Remove enlarged character portraits/animation on side screen when fight occurs 5218E94C E51F1948 1218F94C 00000491 D0000000 00000000 code for "No Animation" 5218FCAC FAFA744F 02190D50 E1A00000 12191C88 00000033 02191DC8 E3A00002 D0000000 00000000 Remove animation when cards are activated, summons 521516C8 FAFB1714 12152774 000000BD 12152788 000000B8 12152798 000000B4 121527F0 0000009E 121527F4 0000009D D0000000 00000000 Get rid of animation that shows phase name 52151F10 0227E938 E2152F10 00000020 E5801574 E3510000 1A000009 E5941000 E5952000 E59F035C EB00A75E EA000004 D0000000 00000000 STEP 2 Pick the AR CODES you want to patch into the game using "DSATM" (v5) from the download below. You must add these cheats into a .txt notepad file, so the program can patch them into the game. There are file examples of how to put them in a text file, but I will give you an example below. NOTE, you only need to make the first cheat into a patch for no$gba, or the first 2 if your playing the game on your NDS. Fix1: 5218E94C E51F1948 1218F94C 00000491 D0000000 00000000 Thats all, just skip a line and add another cheat and rename the entry below like this... Fix1: 5218E94C E51F1948 1218F94C 00000491 D0000000 00000000 Fix2: 5218FCAC FAFA744F 02190D50 E1A00000 12191C88 00000033 02191DC8 E3A00002 D0000000 00000000 Make sure your naming is just like the above examples, you need the colon, which follows the label, like "Fix1" and so on. STEP 3 Double click "DSATM" in the archive ATTACHED BELOW. Select your "DS Game", and select a name to Save As". Then check "Trainer", and "Enable/Disable", and "Enabled at start ? yes". Next select your TEXT FILE with your AR CODES written on them as in the example above, and in the example attached in the file. Select "Text file", and your file with the cheats written on them like the example. NOW CLICK THE GREY CIRCLE, TO THE RIGHT OF YOUR CHEATS, so you see a RED CHECK MARK next to the "Codes" you added. Now click Patch Game. ENJOY, this works for other games as well that use AR CODES to fix crash errors. You can change the RAM address, from its default value, where the patch is applied to, but this is not usually necessary. For no$gba only, but should work on your NDS, if you have a action replay device for it. (the program was originally made by "cracker", but it never came with a good tutorial, and i couldn't find a working one on google, ENJOY) |

It even comes with a fully fledged help-thread where the original author posts. Over there are also a lot of things mentioned you simply withhold. And the actual version is 5.1 and not 5.0. You could have tried to offer your guide over there first. Simply out of respect to the original author.

If a good tutorial wasn't given by the author, in a thread which the author frequents, the author probably didn't want one there. On another note Version 5.1 has a added popup Icon displays when you load a game Why on earth would we need to be reminded by a popup that we used the software to patch a game, unless we need to use that version of the program, I would like to discourage users from using that version. If the source is released, we can always remove the popup ourselves. The "popup" requires more "unused memory space" by the game loading the AR CODES, so this can induce additional problems for the end user. |

Your original post: Quote:
![]() Then we have your current "ninja edited" version: Quote:
Simply asking there would have shown, but this you've avoided by all means! Every encountered problem posted over there was solved in nearly no time. Cracker is a very dedicated person and takes reports very seriously. DSATM went through a lot of changes during the whole development time and the current final has just a few things in common with the very first! Quote:
The readme simply tells the truth: DSATM now even shows the GAME-ICON of the ROM you want to patch! You little (censored) are crying about a POP-UP, which never was or ever will be there! Quote:
You never have used the latest version yourself, that's for sure! STOP discouraging others from using things you will never understand yourself! ...and GTFO! you little (censored)!

It's harsh but if you make valid points you make valid points.
