sorry, but one more minor FF7 question

Just a quick question, it's not a big deal if no one knows. Anyway, everything runs fine when using the P.E.Op.S. driver, even the slot machine thing and the battle swirlies, but for some reason, when someone summons Odin (every other summon is fine) there is a bar of multi-colored static (like bad tv reception) over the top third of the screen or so. Here are my settings. Like I said, it's a pretty minor problem, but it would be nice if anyone had experienced this before and knew the solution. Oh yeah, AMD 1GHz, nvidia nforce k7n420, 256MB DDR, running the game off an iso, and using epsxe 1.5.0.

Plugin: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.4
Author: Pete Bernert and the P.E.Op.S. team

Resolution/Color:
- 1024x768 Fullscreen - [16 Bit]

Framerate:
- FPS limit: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: Auto

Misc:
- Scanlines: disabled
- Game fixes: on [00000099]

Strange ! i've played ff7 several times on epsxe and i never experienced that kind of problem... why are u using a soft driver ? with a 1 Ghz processor, you can normally use one of pete's 3d plugins ( well at least at a lower resolution ) Did you try them ?

You have an nForce chipset. If you don't have another graphics card, the onboard card is a Ge2 MX equivilent. Run the game in OpenGL

Yes, but in open GL, the slot machine for Tifa's limit breaks only works when offscreen dwawing is set to 4. And when I do that, the sound and especially the video run horribly slow, like 5fps and jumpy and ghosty. Using the PEopS driver, everything works fine, even the battle swirlies. I'm just wondering why only one summon doesn't run perfectly...I'd rather take the increased functionality of the peops driver than the open gl driver, which doesn't have a correctly running slot machine or battle swirlies.

thanks anyway
