Twisted Metal music

This is my last try at getting this to work. I'm sure you all know the drill by now. Twisted Metal uses CDDA, and I can't get music to play. I have literally tried everything I've read. I've used Eternal SPU 1.41/1.50 with SaPu CDR, mounted TM in Daemon Tools, and still get no sound. I've tried using only the internal SPU/CDR, to no avail. I've used older versions of ePSXe, and still nothing. I even tried a completely different emulator (pSX). Is there something specific I need to do? Any settings I should be aware of? Something I need to do with the cue/ccd files? Note that ePSXe 1.7.0 does not feature the same three audio options under Eternal SPU as older versions. I have looked through countless threads to figure this out, and I'm simply confounded by the whole thing. I really didn't want to make a thread about this, but I imagine if there is a way to get it to work, this will benefit someone.

Incidentally, I'm running Windows 7. I've noticed that when compatibility is mentioned, it only goes up to Vista. So just in case that's a possibility, I thought I'd throw that out there.
