That actually looks quite similar to a PS3. Next thing you know you'll be putting your game discs in there and wondering why it won't start.

Do PS3 games do the same in standalone Blue-Ray players as Xbox (/360) games do in DVD players? (Short video basically saying "Hey dumbass, that isn't a Xbox!")

The Senn's were 40% off and I've been wanting a pair of headphones that are good for music. Holy **** are they a great pair of cans for the price, sound is fantasmagorical.

Also been needing a new external drive and this was very reasonably priced for its capacity.

I hope you have a small head, those Sennies look very easy to snap in half for those trying to extend them over a bigger head.

Schumi I have those headphones and the size is much bigger than that picture suggests. It does get tight on the head since they are new, but stretch it out by putting it on a few books fixes that quickly.

Maybe you have to pick it as default in the BIOS again.

Lol 10$ isn't that bad, especially when we pay like 8 percent taxes in some states.

Yeah, $10 extra isn't too bad for the new model .

Here's some stuff that came in during my hiatus this month:

My trusty old Motorola H681 was dying. While the microphone on it still works fine, the audio output on it is, well, inaudible. Lately, I've had to resort to using it as solely a microphone, and using my speakers for playback. Not convenient for listening to raid talk during a bathroom break . Plus it has a high-quality mode when paired with the PS3.

New SSD for the Dell laptop, and a DVD bay to SATA adapter. The SSD was on sale, plus I had a Newegg gift certificate, so it was only $40 something. Unfortunately, the SSD died after a couple of hours. Its replacement should be here in a few days. As for the adapter, it takes the place of the DVD drive, and converts from SATA to IDE. Luckily it runs at Ultra DMA mode 5, so theoretically 100 MB/sec max. My quick tests pegged it at about 82.

My UPS finally started screaming at me for a new battery, so there it is. Hopefully it'll fix the random overload tripping it's been doing lately.

While not really a purchase, it came in today so I figured I would add it anyway . My Radeon 6970 died a couple of weeks ago and was still under warranty, so MSI sent me another one. Oddly enough, they shipped it in a motherboard box turned inside-out. Unfortunately, there's one rather major problem with it...

Yeah, I think I'll be sending it back again...

lol, usually I don't get people who want silence from their systems but that sounds as if it would make a vacuum cleaner sound quiet

OMG sounds like a plane.

Btw I just replace my ups battery too, it's a Tripplite.
It has a small lcd that show the voltage, my only problem is that now I installed my Electric Inverter with 4 big batteries to the house, it doesn't work with that UPS.
The UPS doesn't detect that there is power in the house from the inverter.
