Hi all, really excited about using ePSXe, I just downloaded 1.7.0 and have the required BIOS and configuration plugins, but I'm having some issue with a missing .dll file, wnaspi32.dll, mentioned in some of the FAQs on here. The PC I'm using is an ultraportable and has no optical drive, so I plan to play games via .iso or mounted images on a virtual using PowerISO. Do I need to download wnaspi32.dll or some sort of atapi program anyway, or should I be fine with my planned setup? Also, which CD-ROM driver would you recommend I select for this type of setup (using a virtual drive, or running straight from an ISO file - I was told some games need to be mounted while other can be run directly)? My PC is running Windows 7 x64, Core 2 Duo 1.3ghz, 4gb ram, integrated Intel GMA4500MHD video. Thanks in advance! |

Thanks for the info. ePSXe also should work fine on a 64bit OS, right?
