@krissgjeng: italian version, but it's technically the same as english one i think, it just have different texts due to translation, but events happen on the same memory addresses and so on...

@shadowgamerlapy: i tried too, same error...

@raiy0: ok, i retry...

From what? DS ROMs have .nds as a standard extension, have they not?

Yes but when you drag ROM to Patch.exe, Patch patches .nds game and makes .bak game that is original non-patched game

Moved to misc handheld discussion, whilst the thread was originally about no$gba such a patch is a topic much broader than just that emu as the last couple of posts show.

Use code from first post and if that doesn't help, dump bios files and firmware from DS and boot game with Bios...

After patching the game I still have the following problem playing the game on my R4 flashcard:

After I entered my name and the game actually is about to begin, the screen turns black and stays black. The music plays on.. But nothing is happening.

I have patched the original USA ROM file.

What should I do?

Edit: I do have the latest firmware (1.32) installed.

doesnt work for me

it worked perfectly fine until i went to the 2nd gym and it froze up as soon as i defeated the 1st pokemon. Im using no$zoomer right now

EDIT: it finally worked i dont know why but it kept freezing in the gym so i went outside and then back inside and it worked

Dunno, still having the AP freeze issue even with the V2 patch. Using no$gba2.6a with patched US rom and getting a freeze at exactly 37 events every time.

Tried it with and without no$zoomer and no dice either way

Bad dump probably...Are you sure that you didn't ecrypt ROM before patching, cause you must patch plain ROM

When first using this, I still experienced freezes, but it seemed to have been almost completely fixed when I first used the patch, and then used eNDryptS. I have only experienced a freeze when trying the Pokeathlon (which is too slow to be playable, really).

There have been some graphical issues, though. But that's not really a huge problem, everything is fine as soon as I enter a house or a new route etc.

Is it working for everyone else without using eNDryptS and a bios and firmware?

Oh, and btw: Does No$GBA only create the save file when it is closed properly? Because when it crashed in the Pokeathlon, it loaded a save file which was older than it should have been ...

Cheers for the patch. I haven't noticed any random freezes/crashes, though I'm still getting the crash upon saving glitch 90% of the time which makes it essentially unplayable. Any ideas? Using USA version.
