First off hello to everyone. Great to be here this morning. First post and all that, this is a really great site and to be frank quite possibly the best I've been to so far, lots of good help. The question (heh): How is the best way to go about getting my dualshock controller's vibration/rumble etc. feature to work with my epsxe emulator. Does it even support it or is there any way for it to work? Is the question pointless lol? I'm using a Sony Dualshock2 PS2 controller to play and using this adapter Amazon.com: Playstation 2 to PC USB Gamepad Converter: Video Games to get it to work and it works just fine playing the games, everything so far works great including using the analog to play games like Ape Escape etc. The vibration thing is really just a minor luxury considering I can play all my games just fine and whatnot but I've sort of taken it personally to get it to work . I've tried and tried different ways of configuring it but not really sure how to get it to work. I'll put all my config information (got it on the dualshock[F5], the rumble is on type: DX Joy1, big motor: Constant, small motor: Sine) [sorry if this is too much on the post just wanna make sure I put enough info before asking]. Am I doing something wrong (likely ) and if so what could I do to help my situation? Thanks to all for your time and consideration. Edit: Oh! Yeah! Heh, almost forgot, running on Windows 7 (just in case it makes a big difference in terms of what to do).

some of the adapters dont[' support rumble, but most do. if you can't find one, a sure fire way is using a psx to xbox adapter and then using an xbox to usb adapter and installing xbcd. |

Ok, so you mean I need two more adapters to make it work, correct? But hell yeah, that'll prolly work, I have a couple xbox controllers from my lil brother's old xbox. But does the epsxe emulator support a gamepad plugin? I've tried to download a couple and was successful but not really sure how to implement them into the emulator or even sure if I can? (prolly I can and I'm just not going about it the right way?)[Oh! And sorry if this thread may not be in the right place, heh, just realized that. ]

no, epsxe doesn't support game pad plugins, but it is compatible with XBCD's rumble.

Ah, ok. Well, I guess I'll have to try that out, always cool to feel that little bit extra. Kinda sucks that's the only way to get rumble to work but like I said, really just a small luxury. Muchas Gracias sir Squall, heh very much appreciated man, quick work lol. I'll have to buy you a drink sometime.
