Is it me, or do Americans and Impatience go hand in hand?

Lately, I've been reading alot of people's nonsense about how much they hate Obama. If you hate him so much, then you shouldn't have voted for him! Do you honestly think that McCain would have done a better job? Obama isn't perfect, but he's miles ahead of Bush.

Everyone still likes to b@#%& about "Obama hasn't done this" and "Obama needs to do that". For God's sake, he's only ONE MAN! NOT a miracle worker! He's only been in office for a year now. The economy isn't going to get fixed over night! Get real...

I haven't read what he's planned for health care lately, but either way, it's not his fault that it's as bad as it is. It was f@#%ed up when Bush was in office. And why doesn't anyone like to blame anything on Bush? The economy was fine until he stepped in. Is it because he's not white? I wouldn't be surprised...

The US's fast-paced lifestyle appears to have generated this "I want it now!" mindset, and quite frankly, it's getting really old. No wonder the world hates Americans so much...

I wonder if there are still countries where people approve of their president & gov...

(Noboby is more hated than the president in my country. Still, my people won't move their asses to throw him out, everyone is just complaining in his corner. Is it just me imagining things or the situation is pretty much the same all around the world?)

Whatever, from an European point of view, it indeed seems like the American people are a bit impatient... or expected too much from Obama and his administration.

But I remember he himself said not to expect miracles, didn't he ?

Nobody will be strong and courageous enough to clean up the mess our world has become no matter what.

Or, wait... we could have done that ourselves I guess: assaulting the banks and tax heavens and cutting the necks of corrupted politicians who play with our lives, instead of waiting for some random guys to 'do' it for us when they can't.

Meh... there's a football match on tv, so we'll do it later... maybe.

EDIT: and I'm really not surprised to see the trouble Obama has to pass his health care stuff, that sort of thing is just incompatible with American culture.

You are clearly reading examples from ignorant wannabe politicians and comment boxes.

They represent the dumber quarter of our population.

Again?
Attention everyone here outside of America:
Stop lumping us all into one category.

1) I didn't vote for him. I don't vote and I have my reasons.

2) It really doesn't matter what Obama does, as anything he wants needs approval from other sides of the government anyway, so in most cases, he is just a spokesperson.

3) Most of us blame Bush for the bulk of our problems, thanks to him our debt grew into the trillions, most other countries hate us, and we get dissed on all the time. Thanks bush.

4) If I want something now, I do it now. And I dunno where you're gettin' that idea, the bulk of the Americans I know are heavy procrastinators and always want something done 'later' or 'tomorrow'.

5) He has troubles with health care because as it stands health care belongs to the rich, and those in charge of health care want to keep it that way. Our country much like any other is riddled with corruption and Americans can do nothing about it short of a revolutionary war.

6) So far i've heard good report from Obama's work, and if he eventually legalizes Marijuana he'll be my favorite president. Ever.

So stop it. Americans should not be defined by what our god damn government does. We don't even approve of half the **** they do.

Edit -> Why always us? I've met a bunch of people outside the country and believe it or not most of them weren't too much better morally. Some far worse. There was this one German dude that was so ****ing cool though...

It doesn't work that way. I don't really care one way or the other about Obama. But when you vote an official in, you do so based on what you think/hope he might do, not what you know for sure he'll do. You vote, then hope. Sometimes you realize you may have voted wrong. All you can do until next election is express your dissent, as per your right, and any policies you don't agree with.

Obama is the face on the whole administration. The administration isn't just one man.

No it wasn't. Bush just made it a lot worse. The American economy started going to hell when Nixon took the dollar off gold standard and it's been on the fast track to hell since Reaganomics.

Uhh what? Clinton nearly removed all of our countries debt, and things were going great while he was in office until he tried to get a lil extra lovin'. Then Bush came and things went south. Now Obama is trying to salvage what's left after Bush had his play day.
Or was that more sarcasm?

Regardless isn't this entire thread against the rules? Since when is it ok to bash an entire country on something you read about?

Lol no. No I shouldn't. Why? Because as I said before, it doesn't matter. I just go by what I heard. So I heard wrong.
And what exactly has Canada done that was so great? Please enlighten me.
And inspiring Terrance and Phillip in SP doesn't count.

I wasn't aware that this was a competition of the countries. We were talking about US presidential policies and economy. If you really want to, I'll go off on a tangent about things we did better in Canada, and some things that are worse. But I doubt the OP nor the mods will appreciate the threadjack.

The problem is Obama made promises he couldn't keep. He has dragged our country more into debt, unemployment is worse. Obama wants to spend money we don't have. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are deep in the red and he wants health care for everyone? Let me get this straight, when a family of four can't meet they're budget and then they decide to take on the rest of the blocks expenses, what do you call that?

Obama's terrible regarding foreign policy, he isn't tough on terror. He can't handle Iran, Afghanistan, or any terrorists. He and his wife hate America, they put a sicko who wants adult males to be able to legally screw boys in charge of the education system. What has Obama done right?

And considering "right" what about that racist, Anti Semetic moron he called Pastor? Is that the kind of spiritual leader needed for this nation? God Damn America? Our president's pastor? Chickens came to roost on 9/11? maybe roost in the white house!

Yes, I think McCain / Palin would have been better even though I didn't think highly on McLiberal, 'er McCain.

Error: Answer already applied to question. Denied. Because it's my country does not affect anything. It is not my country and I have no control over it. Voting is a hoax.

Error: As stated before this is not a conversation of politics, this is another hate America thread. The thread itself is in violation of the rules. I don't think a threadjack makes a difference.

He is also the reason for the current state of health care.

Actually, most of us 'foreigners' really don't care about America.
(Personnally I'm much more concerned about what happens in Europe, Russia and China)

'Foreign' media sometimes give a biaised image of the US, but yours give quite a distorded image too about what kind of opinion the rest of the world might have about you.

But it's fun to tease you guys.
