FFX patch question

i've been trying to apply GS cheats using the patch feature to my final fantasy X game but nothing i try works if i use the Misc->patch browser menu after i add even one code the game won't load and the program crashes. i tried directly editing the patch file BB3D833A.pnach and that won't work i've tried copy and pasting the codes that other people have posted in the forums here and i have searched but nothing i do seems to work i appreciate any help that you guys can give me

There's no endless page of rules here. But reading up on basic guidelines and etiquette are the social thing to do when joining a community. We clearly have a no-tolerance stand against piracy. It gives emulation a bad name, while it's certainly not a hard job to make your own images.

So yes, you're free to ask the question you want, just keep the warez talk off the forums.

Board policy is nobody has to with the content that was formerly in your post.

your lucky i have a soft spot for canadians and gave you the hint i did.

can you start the game and copy/past the CRC from the log window.

uhhh not too sure about the CRC but there's a line in the terminal that says CRC = A39517AB i think i've got a differnt version of the game as it says there's no patches found for said game

EDIT: ok i got it to where the emulator can actually find the patch but it's still not modifying it this is all that's in the patch(codes not made by me i coppied them from a different thread)

if the CRC differs from the one the patch is made for, then the address the patch is sealing is possibly different.

i edited the .pnach to the CRC that i found and posted and now it detects the patch but it's not editing anything like i've got the max gil modifier but it's just keeping it at 454 gil

A39517AB.pnach - FFX (E), should be one on the pcsx2 site, though its up/down and all over the place today so you might not get on atm.

first of all red i did look at your guide and it was hard to follow and badly written from my point and it didn't work from what i could actually understand
