shutting down my cpu breaks/crashes no$gba?
i don't know if it's relevant, but the only game i have is pokemon platinum. the problem isn't after i start the game, but actually starting it. when i try to load my file, no$gba crashes, and i get the windows '___ is not responding' error. but when i install a new version of no$gba, everything works fine. i can even move my save to the new battery file, and load it from the new emu. this only seems to happen when i shut down/restart my cpu. the emu works fine up until i do that. so it seems. any clue what this might be? |

I don't even have a clue as to what do you mean when you said you shut down/restart your cpu.

So, you say a freshly extracted No$ plays, saves and loads the game until you restart the PC. After that, it crashes with said error. If this is correct so far, I have a few questions: 1) What version of No$ are you using? 2) What version of Windows are you using? 3) Did you change anything on No$'s settings? 4) When exactly does the crash happen? When you load up the game or when you are prompted to load the save-file? 5) Does deleting No$GBA.ini help? 6) On the long run, does setting "Startup/Reentry point" to "Load Cartridge directly" help?

- I'm having this same problem. Does it have to do with the registry or something? |

Try unplugging and replugging the charger, and fix it until it's going 100% again. Worked for me. -_- ....Just recently. Lol. |

Things are a little different for him since the emu fails to even work and it's after every propper shutdown/restart so it's not power related as the problems were for you.
